Mediterraneo

In just a couple of weeks we will be back on Paxos, the tiny Greek Island where my Italian mother lives (it’s all very Mamma Mia).

Naturally, we had to prep the family for the trip by going to see Christopher Nola’s Odyssey - twice. My classicist self wants to write a complex review, but I will leave that to my dear friend Sarah (check out their upcoming talk if you’re local! https://fiveleavesbookshop.co.uk/events/odyssey/).

I will instead speak with solely my photographer’s hat on, and say the movie is stunning, and demanded a level of skill for its practical effects and elaborate filming technology that is enough in itself to warrant a viewing.

In the meantime, I will leave you with some of my favourite photos taken during the two years I lived in Greece (a story for another time).
