Many years ago I managed to visit one of the most unique places in the world: Ricardo Bofil’s iconic Muralla Roja, a Spanish 1973 housing project that looks like a surreal, pastel castle. The building is still a thriving working class community, though a couple of sneaky Airbnbs have popped up within it….

One of the most interesting buildings I have ever photographed, it felt like a different planet.
